Blender Grease Pencil - My first animation

I started learning Blender a few weeks ago, I challenged myself to make a very short animation that looks okay.

I made this animation using blender grease pencil.
It took me about two weeks.

● Usefull channel to get into blender :

I do time-lapse drawings on Photoshop without any drawing school, just free tutorials on the internet.

The goal is to see if it is possible to become a real artist without paying anything.

CAD Program: Photoshop CC 2018
Editing: Premiere Pro CC 2018
Graphics tablet: Wacom Intuos small

Dang, that is a really solid start! Two areas where I think you could improve:
1) The effects lines are a great way of selling motion with fewer frames, but when they move along with the character it makes the character feel flat and artificial. Consider making them a separate object either drawn on a different plane or moved relative to the background rather than relative to the character.
2) I know this is kind of a huge ask, but consider drawing more frames. Most of the viewer's attention will be on the character for most of the shot, so it might be worth some extra effort just to draw some intermediate frames between key poses.

On the other side of things, I love how this is basically a showcase for the kind of awesome things you can do with Ian Hubert's tutorials! Buildings, flyers, floating paper, air conditioner, and even a ventilation shaft (not technically a pipe but close enough). Also I don't know if you did the sound design yourself but it's really good, plus the cinematography of the character stopping and the focus shifting to the flyers works with it to create a really cool effect. All in all it comes together to create a cool mix of hand-drawn soft shapes along with an outlined geometrical background in a pretty interesting and unique art-style.

PS, would you mind telling me what those symbols on the flyers and at the end mean?
