Love is peace, if there is no peace it is not love. Simple as that. If you have to fight for love it is not love. Being able to get divorced easily is a positive thing, doesn't mean that you didn't put effort into the relationship. Previous generations have taught us to be tolerant of things that are toxic in many ways, to naturalize certain manipulations, to accept things that are signs of false love. In this era it is a little less difficult to see things for what they are, to see people's attitudes for how they really are because we have the experience of different relationships which teaches us many things about the other and about oneself.
