My dad told me you just have to be best friends. Best friends fight and argue but they also have fun every day, even one joke. And they never sit around threatening to leave. They work it out. And never stop playing.
He's CRAZY about my mum decades later and many kids later. I hope I find that.

We should listen to people like these and many others from this generation, the toughest generation. They went through wars, saw the rights of the downtrodden and broken being fought for and won, lost that many friends and family along the way while all raising their own family. They’ve been through hardships and us young people just need to shut up and listen to them, they’ve wisdom from decades of so much social change and just by living that long, they are our connection to the past and listening to them and remembering their yarns will keep them alive in the future years to come.
