I did a class recently on the etiquette and history of kimonos and at the end I got to wear one and can I tell you I have NEVER felt prettier than when I was wearing a pink cherry blossom yukata. It’s also pretty much impossible to not sit up straight so ur posture is AMAZING it was so much fun

Don't forget to add padding or wear something to flatten your breasts as they're not supposed to go past/over the obi (same with hips)! My Japanese host mother used a lot of padding since I have a larger bust. I'm also plus size, so at the end of it, I looked like a tree log! 😂 lol
