I need this. My home has 3 agrees window s, and the back of my home is roughly 4 feet “out of the ground” already. I’d love to turn one into a walkout

That's a whole lot of work for an extra door that money could of built a sick deck that'll actually serve a purpose.

The video was too fast to see, but you would need to underpin the foundation where you dug out, and you were now potentially not 3 feet or whatever your local code is below the frost line.

How much does something like this cost? How do you avoid flooding basement. I see the small drain but is that enough for a heavy rain?

When they excavated, it seems like they went deep enough to expose the foundation footing for the entire length of the walkout. How is this protected from frost? Even after sealing with concrete, footings are still not protected from any freezing water that may end up in that area from the surrounding grade. Can someone explain what I'm missing?
