Siemens Digital Tachograph - Manual Entry (How To)

This is the way I input information on a Siemens digital tachograph. It may/may not be the correct way, it's my way......

Probably the most straight forward demonstration I’ve found, I’ve been helping a friend with his manual entries at least twice a week and he just doesn’t get it. I’ve now showed him this so he can call upon it whenever he’s stuck.

hi mate thanks for this video been told after years of basically putting my card in, then taking it out I've now got to make manual entries for the couple of minutes it takes me to walk to my wagon and back each day, this video is perfect for what I have to do and has helped explain it well thanks

Thank you for this. I am just studying for my initial CPC exam and I didn't realise you could input a manual entry into a digital tachograph. It always helps seeing things in person than by just reading. :)

Thanks for the info. Never done a manual entry before. But had to hand over lorry to evening shift and do other work for the first time today. So wish me luck tomorrow morning. Looks easy what could possible go wrong ! lol

They also time out. The first manual entry I done I got distracted as I started, when I went back it had gone onto the regular screen and said I need to take a break immediately. It thought I'd been doing other work all night.
