Tbh Kalameet is one of the hardest bosses I've been against. I beat Manus in 2 tries and beat Kalameet with 1.5 hours of attempts

Man, Midir was an absolute punishment, but the soundtrack was beautiful. I would have thought that Slave Knight Gael would be on this list too—I had a super hard time with him as well.

Nameless king and Midir are in my top 5. Midir is a big skill check. You need to learn every single move of him in order to beat him. If not, you die in seconds. Nameless King is an amazing boss, has the most aura and the best boss fight imo

Here’s my list!
5.) Sister Freide; she’s just so fast man. Like it’d be one thing if you could just tank her hits and trade but she just hits like a truck, especially in her last phase. Also I can’t tell if I suck but I am genuinely guessing where she is when she turns invisible I just can’t triangulate her location yall

4.) Orphan of Kos; you just have so few opportunities to strike back and his combos don’t look like normal combos. I dunno this guy just gave me WAY more trouble than anyone else in that game

3.) Malenia, Blade of Miquella; yeah she’s still hard as nuts. Waterfowl dance being in community for so long doesn’t make up for the fact that they didn’t change its bullshit tracking to be a LITTLE easier to dodge. It’s the one thing that turns the fight from great and engaging to I’m dead”

2.) Darkeater Midir; this is straight up the only dragon fight I really like in basically ANY video game but I LOVE this dude. He took me the second longest to beat in DS3 (I sucked when I started and I suck now, what can I say?) but I love EVERYTHING about him. He’s probably the only boss in the game that really feels like you can’t just bulldoze your way through him other than the Nameless King. You HAVE to fight by this dudes rules and there’s no real way around it

1.) Promised Consort Radahn; did you really think it’d be anything else? This is the only boss in the series that I actually asked a friend to help me with. I’ve beaten him on my own since then but I was just so annoyed and tired of getting my ass beat when I had 110 poise and used a colossal sword, yet hit trading was ABSOLUTELY not an option. A boss that invalidates your build is a boss that’s too hard. If it doesn’t matter what you’re using except these like 3 or 4 builds, the guy is too damn hard. Thankfully they fixed him but that was NOT the Radahn I fought
