Cartesian Equation of a Plane using 3 Points | How to Find It in 3 Steps

We learn how to find the cartesian equation of a plane, given three points that are contained in it. In the worked example we follow 3 steps:
- find 2 non parallel vectors contained in the plane (do this use the 3 points given)
- find a normal to the plane (by finding the vector product of the two vectors found above)
- use the scalar product form of a plane's equation to find the cartesian equation
the method is clearly explained through a detailed worked example.

Can you plz tell is there any other method also which does not involve the vector operations..just for knowledge

hey- you used AB and AC here, but you really could use any combination as long as they aren't parallel right? so like AB and BC?

Thank you so much Sir. It really helped me with the exam question ( open book exam 😊). Thanks again. Is the normal shows the perpendicular?

The thumbnail states that the solution uses a scalar product rather than a vector product. I was specifically looking for the scalar product solution on this occasion :(.
