I have never seen someone explain something so complicated so easy. You are an absolute Legend, thank you so much

Only just the moment arm for the resultant force on the left should be 4m minus a 3rd of 3m..great work man! Thanks

This is such an impressive work.
This is the best channel for engineering lectures I have ever seen.

Thank you so much

8:32 why the pressure of point E is not multiplied by (4-(1/3)*3) just like the Pressure D, because the triangular load does not reach point C too so why we only considered the rest of triangle ? that way it doesn't get to C the water level is only 3m and the point C is 4m

Excellent video, my teacher did not care to explain this concept nor is it in our given textbook. Helping me do well on my final sir :)

It is very difficult to find videos on these subjects in our country. That's why I found it while searching for English source. I like your drawings and explanation 😀. Hi from Turkiye

Question: When taking the Moment about C at 8:18, you use 3-1 for the distance for the left side, but 4- 2/3 for the distance on the right. If you want the distance from point C shouldn't both use the height of the tide gate (which is 4m) instead of the height of the water line (which is the 3m)? I may be missing something obvious

Your vedios are 100% satisfactory.but you need to decrease you speed 30 to 40% to make it more effective

Sir please tell about your application in which you prepared your lectures...
I like the fast mode of your writing and drawing

For the weight of the water that acts upon a slope, shouldn't we also keep in mind its horizontal component?

Please, explain how I calculate (lb/ft3)*(ft/s2)*ft= Lb/in2 (PSI). In my understanding the result is Lb/(ft*s2) and not Lb/in2.
