Some of the scenes used weren't the best to use for graphical comparisons, like shots in Franklin's house.  Should have chose more outdoor scenes in the desert, mountains, underwater, city locations, etc.  Granted, a good portion of the views used do show off the beautifully done graphical improvement between the systems, but a better mix of locations would have helped.  Nonetheless, excellent editing.

Gotta say, PS3 version looks pretty impressive in comparison.

Ps4 looks better on details when up close, but those long shots seem to have more clarity on the PS3!
It seems that the PS4 blurs the distance shots to pour more power into the close stuff.
The comparisons shown in this video seem to show that @ 5:30 or 5:45, though it does appear that the night distance shots seem clear from the single example in this video.

A nice improvement besides the massive desaturating blur applied to scenery in the distance... at 5:28 the PS3 has a lot more detail in the buildings and mountains.

Only just realised how jaggy the PS3 version is compared to PS4. Still looks pretty nice though.

This really shows off how much they were able to squeeze out of the old systems! PS3 still looks great for what it is!

It does look nice, obvious improvements to lighting and especially foliage really stands out against the older consoles not to mention the resolution bump. It is truly still impressive what Rockstar managed to do on the older consoles though. Can't wait for PC version now.

I have both games on both systems and I can tell you both are fun. I do like the extra music in the PS4 version, but you can't go wrong either way.

You have to actually play GTA5 on next gen to tell the differences between ps3 and ps4. It's more than just the 1st person view. I noticed differences within minutes of playing it on ps4. The graphics and gameplay was greatly improved.

There's not a HUGE difference in every single part of the game, but there are some really big and noticeable difference in certain parts. However, The main difference in all parts of the game is the fact that the ps4 displays 1080p resolution. Which, depending on the TV/Monitor you have can make a really big difference. I personally have both the ps3 and ps4 version. I mainly bought the ps4 version because I got a good price cut on it. The main thing that drew me in was the First person view mode, because I am an avid FPS fan. It was definitely worth the $40 I paid for the ps4 version. With all of the new features and the graphics updates. But, I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price.
