Learning Italian in 1 Month?! (9 Unique Ways to Learn a New Language FAST)

**DISCLAIMER**: I am not preaching that you can reach fluency in ANY language in just one month. The beautiful complexities of any language take years to learn and it's best if you actually immerse yourself in that culture among native speakers. However, since many of us don't have the capability of that method, I provided some tips to simply learn faster than using Duolingo once a day. I'm no professional, but I was very pleased with the progress I made in just one month. Again, I'm not fluent, just an ambitious and happy language learner. ;)

Do you want to learn a new language, but have no idea where to start?

I have 9 helpful tips for you to not only learn a new language but to become conversational.

Last month I embarked on a language learning journey and challenged myself to learn as much Italian as I could in one month. It wasn't easy, but I learned a lot about how to learn a new language and decided to share my tips with you! I'm excited to continue learning this beautiful language and hopefully, I'll continue to add more languages to my list. Again, I didn’t become fluent in one month, as it’s impossible to understand all the intricacies in such a short time. I’m still learning! Enjoy and check out my favorite resources below!

Just note to myself:
1. Top 1000 words - 100/day, using flash cards
2. Reviewing them everyday - repetition is key
3. Commonly used verbs and conjugations
4. Keep a journal in that language
5. Keep an activity log (of the learning journey)
6. Watch videos in that language
7. Music
8. Hello talk (after you’ve built some basic knowledge)
9. Get a workbook (conversation)
10. Read and listen to children’s book

Her: "don't be afraid to learn 100 words in a day"

Me, always, one day before my french exam: "So, let's learn 700 words in a day and forget all of them next week"

Good pronunciation! Just, a little tip: pay attention to double letters, they DO count! Complimenti per i tuoi sforzi! Wow

Hey! I saw that you wrote in your notebook "sono eccitata " and just wanted to tell you that the word "eccitata" is mostly used in the sense of "horny". So if you want to say "I'm excited", I suggest you say something like "Sono emozionata, sono molto contenta, entusiasta" or something like that!
I'm Italian and wanted you to know so that you don't make this mistake with a native speaker. Good job 👍 (I don't know if others pointed out this mistake already)

As a native Italian speaker, you are going really well but you need to slow down and really pronounce every letter. By slowing down you can focus on using actual Italian pronunciation and eventually you can speak at a normal pace with excellent grammar!
