An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare (UNH) CEO Brian Thompson, which NYPD investigators deemed to be "a pre-meditated, pre-planned, targeted attack." Suspect Luigi Mangione, 26 years old, was arrested in Altoona, PA, with a firearm believed to be "consistent with" the one used in last week's shooting. Julie Hyman reports the breaking news surrounding the details of Magione's arrest.

FYI: reward money is taxable income. You will need to claim it on the gross income line. This income may affect income limits of your healthcare plan. You may possibly be denied coverage due to exceeding income limits.

Remember Jury nullification means that a jury can decide to acquit a defendant even if they believe the defendant is guilty, often because they think the law is unjust or improperly applied. This allows jurors to use their sense of justice to override the legal standards in a specific case.

My issue is the inconsistency. He clearly planned the assassination carefully, meticulously calculating an escape route that kept the police searching for days. Yet somehow, he’s suddenly caught with all the incriminating evidence on him—at a McDonald’s, of all places? I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but this doesn’t add up. Something about it smells off.

Imagine if the police spent this much energy looking for real criminals? Only the rich have justice on this country

First guy looked Slavic, in the initial photo. Second guy looked Hispanic. Different backpack and different jacket with both front pockets. The secondary photos with the smile is not the same guy as the the first photo and the cctv footage that came out.

More likely they found some random guy to arrest and take the fall, to try and prove they're not incompetent.

His past roomate said he was extremely health conscious. But he was found at McDonald's. Wow, cognitive dissonance.

Jury nullification refers to a jury's knowing and deliberate rejection of the evidence or refusal to apply the law either because the jury wants to send a message about some social issue that is larger than the case itself, or because the result dictated by law is contrary to the jury's sense of justice, morality, or fairness. Essentially, with jury nullification, the jury returns a “not guilty” verdict even if jurors believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant broke the law. This can occur because a not guilty verdict cannot be overturned and jurors are protected regardless of their verdicts.

Comments sections are being shut down all over the web. 😂 sucks to be rich right now. Why would a rich dude murder another rich dude? That just does not make sense at all.
