My optometrist didn't inform me about the markings that's why it's so uncomfortable to wear, it's so blurry and irritating so I just stopped using it after 1 week.

Thats what blinking does and keeping your eye closed and moving your eye around with your eye closed so the weighted marking moves into the correct place

That’s true but it depends on your eye. The optometrist calculates the degree of rotation of the lens on your eye because not everybody’s eyes hold the contact in that position. So they have to add the degree of rotation to the astigmatism axis. Besides, the contact has a design that makes it find its position on the eye so if you insert it upside down it will find it’s way to the right position

Tried it doesn’t work for me. I don’t know they are blurry on me when I got the right strength for my astigmatism 😢

Best contacts for astigmatism? So far eye contacts tend to make my eyes feel dry. I already had the dry eye test, I don't exactly have dry eyes. But I'm losing hope for wearing contacts. Taking them off is such a pain too

What about PFAS in contacts? I used one of those high PFAS- air optix ones, then the lower PFAS air optix. Also I was found to have cupping- glaucoma suspect 8 years ago, but prior to that my glaucoma screens at the optometrist were normal. Maybe it damaged my retinal cells? I don’t recall how long I used the high PFAS air optix, probably not very long, 1-2 years. I wear contacts just for exercise but sometimes I exercised daily.

I found this video because I thought I was tearing them by accident somehow. I didn’t know that mark was intentional. Dr. Never told me and I didn’t know it was supposed to be at the 6 position either.
