I'm usually hit or miss with these types of collections... but you are making me excited to read it 🤗

King never disappoints. He also must have a thing for creepy dogs in another of his stories, Gerald's Game. That story also has a dog who ends up chewing on someone like the one you discussed. Lots of dream sequences too. If you havent seen the film of it I highly reccomend it.

YAY! I've been looking forwards to this review, Syn ❤
DCBD also kept me up too! I couldn't go to sleep till I finished it - def my fav of the collection as well. It was 150 pages.
My other favs were Rattlesnakes (references to the trauma from Cujo, Duma Key and felt a lot like a tribute to the Log Lady from Twin Peaks) and The Answer Man which felt a little bit like Gwendy's a Button Box. I'd love to know more about what The Dreamers were dreaming of - SO Lovecraftian, you're right!

Great video. I’ve just finished this collection except for Danny’s Bad Dream (left til last as longest) but in answer to Who is the Answer Man, I believe he’s the man in black 😎👍🏻

Currently reading it. Not a fan of short stories but I read the ones from my fave authors and as long as it's horror. Not done with the first story yet. (I'm a reader).😅
