Even with all the attention on Russia related to the big meet up, the press simply fails to bring forward the most important issue: negotiation of new arms reduction. It's quite a disservice to the public to continue the state of denial that exists as regards the dangers of nuclear war. Both countries have thousands of thermonuclear weapons aimed at each other's cities, (targeting every city with a population greater than 100, 000, and with multiple warheads in many cases) but that question even come up either in political discourse or media coverage of international issues. This is remarkable and dangerous.

It will be wonderful to have a president who can present the American perspective unlike the disgraceful Trump who ALWAYS deferred to Russia to define their exchanges.
