Great song Great voices. There is a story that back in the day the powers that be over the awards did not want them to be to close and did not want them to kiss on the show. They are great friends and no way would they let anyone say they could not do what they wanted to do. Amen. Love the power of their voices but also their great friendship

Funny but true story... I was in NYC on vacation about 5 years ago, and my friend and I went to Home Depot and my friend said.. "Look I think that guy over there is Aaron Neville?" and I inched closer and sure enough it was him. I wanted to say hello as I am a huge fan, but he was just trying to buy paint and I didn't want to be one of those pesky fans LOL. It was very cool nevertheless. I love both Aaron, and Linda so much! Thanks for covering this.

Their relationship was mutual respect and friendship. I recommend watching - not even reacting to - the Linda Rondstadt movie on YouTube- The Sound of My Voice. It gives so much insight into who she is and follows her journey. She narrates and is interviewed so you hear her perspective. She tells the story of how she met Aaron and this song came to be.

Aaron Neville's voice is like wine...it gets better over time. He was 49 years old here. I'm so blessed to have grown up in New Orleans and see Aaron and the Neville Brothers frequently. Linda Ronstadt was simply fabulous also - and may God bless her as she deals with a debilitating medical condition. Thanks for reacting to this!!! - P.S. - They were a couple from 1989 to 1992, but to this day they remain very great friends and collaborators. Like you said, it sends chills down my body and makes me cry it's so damn beautiful.
