Story goes, after they finished recording this in the studio Aaron turned to Linda and said "see you at the Grammy's" and sure enough they won best pop performance.

Bob Dylan said that Aaron Neville's voice can lift a soul out of hell.

Aaron's voice is so special and distinct. I love how Linda modulates her tone and level to complement his lead. She could belt every note out of the park, but she doesn't. It sounds so effortless, but you know they rehearsed the hell out of this thing.

I am 76 now, I love to see the posts from young folk when they hear great music for the first time. Thank you

Aaron Neville... part of the Neville Brothers out of New Orleans. Voice like no other. Linda Ronstadt... pure gold.

I'm getting goosebumps listening to this song. Music back in the day was so beautiful.

There has never been another voice like Aaron. And Linda had one of the most powerful female voices ever. Perfect duet.

Having grown up outside New Orleans, I am very familiar with Aaron Neville and the Neville Brothers. Aaron's voice is quite distinctive. I love his voice and love these two together.

Linda was such a gift…she was generous in singing duets…letting her partner shine forth…what a woman!

As a 54yr old, I agree, we had the very best music and y’all younger generations missed out for sure! My daughter, 24, loves the music I grew up listening to and sometimes I’m surprised by the songs she knows

He has a special voice and there is no one like him.
He and his brothers were in a group for years.
Then he went solo and soared!

You need to check out her song, "Blue Bayou" or any of her other hundreds of hits. She is excellent. Aaron is excellent also. We boomers kind of thought that our music was normal and fun. There were so many of us the chance that there would have been world class performers in our generation was a given and there were so many of us to pay to see and hear them that they could make a good living from it. You could say we were spoiled.
Good reaction.
