My IVF Story - From Despair to Joy by Becky Wilson

Here is Becky's story of her journey through despair at being told she would probably not be able to have a baby to the joy of giving birth.

After being told that she may not be a good candidate for IVF Becky came to the Zita West Clinic for a second opinion and through our testing found out that she had low AMH - a measure of her egg reserves. We developed an individualised plan of action with her and after having IVF with us she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Ella.

Did she have icsi?
I'll be 47 in a couple weeks. I'm trying MINI IVF, first time. I tried home insemination for 6 months with no luck. I was pregnant naturally at 44.5 but had to abort.
I finished letrozole, I'm on gonal f 200iu, low dose naltrexone, prednisone 2day, I finished z pak, taking a prenatal. On cycle day 4 I had ultrasound/blwk which
showed 3 follicles L side and 5 R side. Cycle day 10 I have 7 follicles L side 7 R side, but no large follicles. I was told the day before to start cetrotide but after ultrasound told to continue gonal and stop cetrotide. Today is cycle day 12 and going to have ultrasound to see if follicles grew. What could be wrong? Can't afford donor eggs. Endometrium is 7. something.
