Having a home for everything and the blocking open spaces with flowers have been amazing tips to keep our house organized for a while now. Thanks Emily

I’m showing this video to my mom. I’ve spent my whole life trying to teach her some of these basic life skills that are highlighted here. How she was able to be a grad school professor for 42 years never having written any tasks or deadlines down is beyond me. Imagine how successful she would have been with lists! But, it’s never too late!

Emily, I may not always comment but I always watch your videos. You are so inspiring and I can see that you really care to put a lot into making such motivational videos. You always have great ideas but it also has to do with how you present them. Once again thank you for putting in the time and effort to help all of us, I have gotten such great ideas from you!! Enjoy the rest of August!!

thanks for not putting on music while talking. it is nice just to watch how you do housework etc, like a friend's talking.

I was really struggling with the "don't sit down" rule especially after putting my two toddlers to bed then I have ZERO energy, but I managed to do that by cleaning BEFORE they sleep ! that way I get this superpower and I find myself so focused and cleaning fast because I'm thinking about their bed time

The two best organisation tips I learned with you Emily (and use daily): the 10min timer & the “Don’t sit” before organising the kitchen (at least)! It helps me soooo much, makes me a happier person, especially in the morning, when I wake up to a clean kitchen and dining area 🤩💝

I make my bed every morning and by doing that, it encourages me to make sure other things in the room are put away. It is now a habit I have. Definitely agree that habit forming is fabulous at helping to keep things tidier. Great tips again.

I have just started meal planning for the week ahead and being so busy all the time i find i know what i am doing for dinner so no being lazy or having to think. I know what i am doing and when. Also you can prepare things the day before to help your future self out. Its so great. No going back now. Thanks emily

Doing a little bit each day or each week. If I can’t tidy up everyday, I will pick a day that week to clean and organize. Over time, you will want to do it because you like looking at how nice things are.

It’s funny because I have always loved these sorts of videos but have always scoffed at some of the common things like the morning/evening clean routines and command centres. Then I had kids. After the first baby, routines became a staple in our house. Now I’ve just had the second baby and I definitely need to implement more of these, including the command centre. There’s just so much more to keep track of with kids than there was with just my husband and I.

I loved your older videos but this just popped up and I desperately needed it. We just moved from the east coast United States to a US base in Italy — what a change! I mostly miss my online shopping because I used to
Do the same thing with meal planning. What a game changer it was. This has inspired me to do it again!!

I have 2 main closing duties that I must do after I’ve put my boy down to bed, kitchen and living room reset. It really makes me more productive in the morning and allows me to get some uni work done before anyone gets up!

I cannot make the bed straight away, the thought of making the bed when it is still warm makes me shudder. I have to open the windows, throw back the covers and air the beds and pillows for as long as possible. Every home has dust mites and they love moist, warm matresses/bedding, it is a perfect breeding ground for them.
All the other suggestions are excellent. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not the only one who thinks this way - I have recommended her vlog to many people and got the same feedback - having said that, i sincerely love Emily and her parenting ...I love that she pays equal attention to all 3 of her sons, unlike some other mums.

Have been loving your content for a couple of years now, but would love to see more hauls and outfits again! Feels like you have shifted away from that content a bit lately. Still love your videos and find your cleaning videos especially inspiring/satisfying 🥰🥰

Hi Emily, my 4 best tips came from you! Unload the dishwasher whilst waiting for the kettle, 1 load of laundry per day, snack baskets for school holidays and getting clothes and bags ready the night before for everyone. These 4 are real game changers - thank you ✔️👍xx

Definitely I'm someone who loves being organised. But I'm always on the look-out for tips and ideas to make my life even more easier. I make lists for everything. Plus write Daily Tasks and trying to do Weekly Menu planning. It will make my life easier. I do tend to cook xtra so i freeze half of what I cook if I can. I get the kids involved whenever possible. But in general keeping on daily tasks gives me a clear mind. I only wish I had done this decades ago!!😂

I have always looked up to you and love your advice. You've helped me become the mother I am today! I'm still in awe how you always take such good care of everyone and yourself. I feel I can barely get out of my pajamas some days let alone do my hair and makeup and keep everyone fed and taken care of! I struggle daily lol. I think I would really benefit from writing down a routine like you suggested. I have a loose routine where there's wiggle room and sit down a lot. Thank you so much for sharing your advice and your family is lucky to have such a great mom ❤ some days I can barely handle 1 baby so I really admire you for doing such a good job with 3
