Very good video and so true, especially the bit about Sicily; I lived there for four years running an Airbnb, then a friend recommended moving to Sardinia. Bought a house in Monserrato last month; best thing I ever did. I have lived and worked in 12 countries, Europe, Africa and Middle East and finally found paradise on earth.

I also really like the point you made about it being green all year long as we have an extremely long dry season here of about eight months and everything gets very proud and very dusty. This is the same peaceful joyous feeling I get when I'm in Hawaii, but it's SO expensive. I've begun looking at Sardegna. It's beautiful and the way of life looks wonderful. The one concern I have is with health care. I'm in my 60s with some health issues. Are there good doctors and hospitals? If so, what region is best for access to those?

Amazing! While local people especially young ones can’t buy plot and build a house because most of the land is agricultural and you need crazy amount of land to be able to build a small house and you have to have agricultural experience 🫠🫠🫠

Whilst there may be more affordable areas in Sardinia, the Costa Smeralda in the north is a hyper luxury place with astronomic prices for Real Estate etc, one of the highest in the world 😮
