Dear Passinis,
I want to say thank you. I’ve had to change my diet recently because of my health, and thanks to videos like this one I’ve started trying to look at food the way Alessio does, and I’m learning that eating better food doesn’t have to be colorless and bland! I was inspired by this video in particular to challenge myself to find a tomato sauce that meets “is there” as he would say, and he is absolutely right! When it comes to ingredients, less is more, and though I didn’t understand what he meant when he said that the sauce needed to be balanced, as soon as I tasted the right sauce, I knew. When you can smell and taste every single ingredient, and the tomatoes are flavorful and not too acidic, it’s like music in your mouth! I will never buy American style sauce again!

I love tests like these because it really shows how people like bad food and claim its good out of psycholgy rather than taste and cost or the opposite. Good food being denounced because its perceived as being bad when its not.

Botticelli's tomato and basil is my favorite, because there's no added sugar. Literally just the ingredients you would normally put in a good tomato basil sauce. it's great

Raos really is the best grocery store sauce. It's not even close...at least from what's available where I live.
