Potato stacks 🥔 Cooking a three course meal for friends pt1

Показать описание
Hey hungry people, part 1 of me trying to cook a three course meal for my friends!
Liquid Mixture:
- "Half and half" (was what i was told to use, but we dont have that in australia so i mixed heavy cream and full cream milk 1:3 Ratio)
- Nutmeg
- Garlic Powder
- Pepper
- Salt
Others:
- Potatos (quite a lot 4-6)
- Parmesan Cheese
- Butter
- Parsley
Recipe
1. Combine liquid mixture with seasoning. Dont have exact measurements but i reckon, 2 tbsp garlic powder, 4 tbsp salt, big pinch of pepper, 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
2. Slice thin pieces of potatos into liquid mixture (mandoline is super useful for this)
3. Place a piece of baking paper into a tin and layer the potatos into a tin layer but layer and adding a pinch of pepper, parmesan and butter in each layer.
4. Stack as many layers as you please, i think i did about 10?
5. Bake at 375F for 1.5 or so hours (once you take it out, check if its soft, if not put it back in)
6. Once cooled, put something heavy over to keep it flat and put it in the fridge overnight.
7. Take it out the next day, cut it into whatever shape you want and fry at 350F until golden brown.
8. Garnish with some more parmesan, flaky salt and parsley
