Memories of myself being there before I reached this hospice stage of being aged & frail.  Could you do other open public events too?  Markets, auctions, professional conferences where they have exhibition areas, garage sales, car boot sales, ... ?

I love to see these maker fairs and wish we had some around here.
It do not show a lot of new stuff (if any), but it is interesting to see what people can get out of the technology. This applies to Arduino, but also to other platforms (Like mobile phones), with some clever application of the technology.
