My main protagonist speaks like a typical English major until she's stressed out or tired, then some Texas AAVE idioms sneak in to the mix. My main antagonist is a wolf, who speaks in extrasensory images most accurately translated by Proto-Germanic grammar and Early Modern English vocabulary. They both can get snarky and sarcastic.
