I am dealing with a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer. I am still in treatment and praise God, I can truly say that I don't know about tomottow but I do know the God that holds my hand. A
powerful message for complicated times. I sang this song in my church 2 weeks before my dad died. It was a powerful message then and it is still true today. Thanks Sangah. Well done.

저는 한국에서 모태신앙이라 이름붙이는 그런 사람으로 태어나서 성인이 될 때 까지 살다가 이십대 후반에 미국으로 공부하러 와서 학위를 마치고 서남부 버지니아주에 정착해서 살고 있은지 20년이 되어가는 아줌마입니다.
상아 누나 님의 힘차거나 부드럽고 섬세하고 과감한 음성과 피아노 연주를 우연히 유튜브 알고리즘 추천으로 알게 되어 매주 라이브를 놓치지 않으려 노력한지 한 달이 좀 넘었어요.
종교와 신앙과 가족과 일과 뭐... 다 쓰기는 힘들고,
굳이 제가 첫 댓글을 이 곡 영상에 쓰는 이유가 있어요.

영어로 된 원문 가사를 들으니 찬송가의 의미를 잘 이해하게 되고 공감도 잘 되어서 참 좋습니다.
이 노래, 내일 일은 난 몰라요, 제가 한국에서 열심히 교회 다닐 때 불렀던 것이지만, 한국 가사는 좀 무책임하고 (내일 일은 난 몰라요 하루하루 살아요) 자괴감 들고 (불행이나 요행함도 내뜻대로 못해요) 기복신앙이나 주술적인 느낌 (아버지여 아버지여... 이루소서)이 들어서 좋아하지 않았고 그냥 멜로디가 좋아서 많이 불렀습니다.
주말 아침 침대에 누운채로 유튜브를 뒤적이다가 이 노래를 들었는데 참 아름다운 노랫말이었다는 것을 오늘이야 깨달았습니다.

내일 일을 나는 몰라요! 가 아니라,
내일 어떤 일이 다가올지 잘 모르지만 내 손을 잡은 이가 누구인지는 안다는 거... 그 손 잡은 이가 기독교의 하나님이 아니어도 그래도 큰 위안이 되는 곡이네요.

Here i am hospitalised because some unidentified desease. I've been checked and 2 times the test said I'm not infected by covid-19. The doctor still not sure and schedule a test one more time, two days from now. I became worried every time passes

And here i'm found back the song that lift my spirit up.

This my grannie fave song. She rest in peace and sadly I can’t go back home due to covid19. Sadly to see her unconscious through vidcall. I play this over and over it is so comforting to me.. my mom had a stroke.. needs surgery.. doing all I can for her but I feel helpless.. I pray for her and try and be with her but I cannot fix it.. I cannot make life how it use to be. I don't know about tomorrow.. anxiety and depression swarming over me.. feel like i am sinking.. I play this song over and over and it gives me a glimmer of home amidst the despair.

YES...ALL the glory to our Father in heaven, Sangah!! Not only for the talents He has given you to share with others, but especially in knowing who holds the future!! This is the perfect song to remind people that when we face unknown trials and tribulations on roads yet untravelled, there is HOPE in knowing that God can already see the road hazards and will walk with those who desire to let Him. This song reminds me so much of "Footprints in the Sand", and how Jesus actually carries us when we are weak or rebellious. This must have been a difficult last service for you, as I'm sure it was for the members of your church. I praise God each time I hear about people like you who trust in Him for everything! Life is never easy, but with a Father who cares for us even more than the birds in the air, I will fear no evil. (see also Psalm 23:6)

This is one of my husband's and myself favorite songs, there are 3 particular songs that we listen to every night before going to sleep: I Know Who Holds Tomorrow, Nothing Between/I Surrender All (Neville Peters), Blessings (Laura Story). My husband is a pastor in Caracas Venezuela, I have advanced multiple sclerosis and have been paralyzed in bed for 8 years, I only move my left hand a little. Suffering has been part of our ministry and very important in our relationship with the Lord. The Word, prayer, and every worship are crucial in the life of every redeemed person! Amen!
