Bedoy's Bakery in San Antonio

The International Traditional Knowledge Institute, U.S. Division (ITKI US), showcases San Antonio's Bedoy’s Bakery in the third edition of the “Breads from Creative Cities – Local Traditional Bakers” international project. The project documents the baking traditions of UNESCO Creative Cities around the world. Bedoy’s Bakery has been preserving the tradition of baking pan dulce since 1961. San Antonio was designated a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in 2017.
