I STILL cannot hear the marriage equality thing being mentioned without choking and/or tearing up AND I DON'T EVEN LIVE IN THE US. I'M JUST REALLY HAPPY ABOUT IT.

John, I think I speak for all of Nerdfighteria when I say that I'm just so happy for you. About all of it, all of your success.

I already have my ticket for Night on the Towns, and I am planning on going to Dallas (I live in Houston)!! Wow, the Nerdfighters voting for Indiana so that you could spend a day with your family is so touching. It literally brought tears to my eyes. I am SO thrilled with the recent Supreme Court ruling, and I can't wait for the Looking For Alaska movie. (Once there are three movies, you can have a marathon. Watching two movies does not count as a marathon.) I am so so proud of you, John. I hope your daughter feels better.

While Looking For Alaska I believe is very hard to capture (I've read the book several times and still find new things and meanings) I have to believe that if captured "right", it could be an amazingly stunning and touching film. I'm excited!

Why can't we get an abundance of Katherine's film? That was my favorite JG book

Looking for Alaska is your best work, you can really feel the love and passion in the storytelling. not that you can't in the other ones, but after reading all your books, Alaska has a very near and dear spot in my heart and i am so excited for it to be made into a movie.

Is there a world record for most time spent in an airport, because John would win it for sure

So excited for you John. Your success and kindness is something I'd like to see in all people; in their own way of course.

I was already super excited to hear that a Looking for Alaska movie was in the works because it's honestly one of my favorite books ever. But it makes me even happier to hear you say the director gets the book. Because I've come across people who read the book who didn't get it, and that's always frustrating.

"Writer of Fault in our Stars book, John Green arrested and detained at airport for using party popper inside airport for his video blog. He was promptly released by security after making head of security, John Johnson, weep in the interrogation room after describing his books."

To the people who gave up their chance to see John Green in their state, so that he could see his family, you are all wonderful.

I teared up when I saw Indianapolis was one of the cities for the tour. Nerdfighters are so sweet! I'm happy you'll get to be back with your family for at least one day, and I hope the tour isn't as chaotic and stressful as the TFIOS one last year.

Any hints to where your cameo is? Just a tiny little, Nerdfighter scavenger hunt-style hint?

Also, excited about Becca directing! I think she's going to rock it.

John is now a Film Personality and Hank is now writing books.

I can't get over how successful these two have become since I started following them in 2007.

Looking for Alaska is my favorite book by John. It struck me emotionally far more than TFiOS. I like Paper Towns too and I look forward to the movie.

Oh, yes, John I remember those feels at 00:19.  One time when my son was about three or so he was vomiting early in the morning as I was getting ready for work.  It was his first vomiting ever and he was confused, frightened, and sad.  As I walked out my door - feeling my heart breaking into a million pieces - he was in his mother's arms, reaching out to me and saying, "daddy."

I've heard from friends and a sibling that Looking for Alaska is really good, so I finally just ordered it on Amazon.

There was a documentary filmed at my school that I was in. I was “in” the movie in the sense that I can be seen in the background of a few candid shots and there’s one scene filmed of a class I was sitting near the camera in. I noticed I was in the classroom shot but genuinely didn’t notice I was in the background of other shots until someone else pointed it out to me afterwards.
The purpose of this story is to demonstrate that it can be very easy to not notice a cameo. I didn’t even notice my own “cameo”.
