Welcome to Bible Time!
The intention behind these videos is to post one video a day reading through a part of the Bible. I encourage you to find other passages to read in addition to watching this and to spend time praying and listening to God. My hope and prayer is that, for all of us, spending time daily seeking God won’t be done merely out of legalism or religion but stemming from real relationship and a desire to follow the way of Jesus!
My goal is that our time seeking Him would lead us to greater affection for Jesus AND obedience to Jesus!
If you know someone who would benefit from these videos please tag them and/or share the video!
“May God bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace!” Numbers 6:24-26

Been following your Bible Readings for two days now as I have been trying to read Romans on my own and this has helped so much. I am new to have accepted Jesus as my saviour and this readings are just what I need. I believe after this series of Romans you have stopped doing these Bible Readings. Are you going to start them again. I am going to start following all the others you have on your YouTube page but please, if you have the time, can you start doing regular Bible Readings again. Thank you and God bless you.

Craig, love this! Let e throw this out there and you can either pick it up or not. But once I aw it a couldn't un-see it. When it comes to under stand that statement, "you will heap burning coals on their head." The Greek word for heap of burning is "Anthrakia"- it only appears in the text twice. John 18:18 and then later in John 21:9. When you see where it is and what events take place around I hope you see it bc, i only have so many words here. But long story short what do I need to know that when Peter denies Jesus three times here is near a Anthrakia and when Jesus restores Peter three times near a Anthrakia, could it be that just like many times in the old testament God showed his presence among his people through Fire, cloud, wind, and so on and so forth. Could it be that it was in the very presence of God that Peter denied Jesus, and in that same presence, Jesus restores peter. So if God's presence is represented by a Anthrakia- heap of burning coal, is Paul actually telling us that when we do as the text says that we give people the very presence of God. And in giving them the presence we do exactly what you say we have heard or how some of tried to interpret and understand the meaning of this. Again just food for thought, for me it changed how i understand or look at this passage, in fact I'll be preaching about it in the next month in half. It changed how i look at the text. I had to ask the question in John why do i need to know that Peter was near a Anthrakia in those two passages, and then i connected the Romans passage to it, and it blew my mind and our God is so amazing how he speak to us through His word. Just wanted to Encourage you! God Bless!

Please drop the background music. It’s distracting.
