I realized a year ago that I had let some new age ideas slip into my life. I had read The Secret and I was experimenting with vision boards and repeating affirmations. Not realizing these things did not fit with my faith. I repented when the Holy Spirit convicted me and showed me my error! I have felt my peace and faith grow even deeper since leaving that behind! My apartment neighbors are a lesbian Wiccan couple. They are only about 19 years old and go by the names Hex and Lucian. They have all manner of witchcraft displayed on their door and I live across the hall with all of the names of Jesus displayed on my door in vinyl letters. I shared the gospel and my testimony and invited them to my church last Easter. They declined but said they appreciated the invite. They told me they were not Christians. They were totally into pride month. I hung a poster of a rainbow on my door, BUT it had the Bible verse about Noah and the true meaning and promise of the rainbow. I pray for them and determined from the start to show love to them. We are actually friendly to each other. I give them food all the time cause they don't cook. I leave encouraging notes at their door and they actually gave me a gift basket at Christmas and thanked me for being hospitable to them. Well, this video has convicted me that I need to do more and be bold in sharing the gospel again with them. Thanks Sean. I learned SO MUCH!!!

My daughter is doing Tarot cards and practicing witchcraft. I have tried giving her passages from the Bible about mediums, etc., but she says she doesn't want it crammed down her throat so I have stopped trying. I do still pray for her everyday that God will put someone in her life that will lead her back to him. Any prayers for her are greatly appreciated.

I recently found Jenn on YouTube & she had great content. I’m always blown away when I listen to testimonies of people coming from occult practices that will say something like, “I don’t know why or how I knew to do this, but I just called out Jesus save me.” I’ve heard probably 4 or 5 now in interviews say they & I always get chills. Praise God. He’s faithful & just waiting for each of us to call upon Him & He will be there. 🙌

I can relate to this. I was raised a catholic, and as I got older, I went away from God. I ended up in a coven and heavily involved in the occult. I have experienced demonic and angelic entities. I worked as a hospice nurse for 10 years and have a very intimate relationship with death.
I used to read for people, very accurately too. Using tarot, pendulums, tea leaf reading, runes. All sorts. What really woke me up was seeing all the overt satanism in Hollywood and in the world. I started questioning where my knowledge was coming from... I am SO happy I have come back to Christ and have just messaged the local Catholic Priest for confession. My first confession in 23 years. Praise God 🙏 the King of Kings

Twice, a family member visited central and South America and both times brought me a gift . Both times the gift was a tiny doll, small enough to be carried around in a pocket or purse, which was the intention. It was called a "worry doll." The idea was to pray your concerns and worries into the doll and the doll would take the worries onto themselves. She said they had been "blessed" or something by what was essentially a witch doctor, but I didn't take it seriously. I was never comfortable with them, and just put them on a shelf. By the time she gave me the second one I realized it was a source of witchcraft. I kept them only because they were gifts, but then thought about how the witchdoctor took it sincerely when he performed his ritual and there may be "something" attached to it and how it was offending God. I couldn't allow them in my house any longer and threw them away.

Just before I was saved I started using Tarot cards. I’d always wanted to be spiritually in tune with “ghosts” and things growing up (although I grew up in a Christian household). I was always disappointed, because I didn’t have the experiences that friends or people I looked up to had. Other than always being aware of a presence in every home I lived in as an atheist, I rarely felt the power I wanted to feel.

Since being saved I have experienced so many supernatural, beautiful things from God. When your eyes are uncovered and you see what God wants you to see on how He works in your life it makes New Age practices pale in comparison. The way the Bible so often will speak directly to something I’m wanting to know or something I’m struggling with never fails to astound me. Even praying that God will bring me closer to Him when I’m feeling distant always floors me. He is the master craftsman of our lives and the world surrounding us. The way He chooses to show that to each individual Christian is so interesting.

New Age practices have power, but when experiencing the true power of God there was no comparison.

I love that you call out astrology for its toxicity. I was once speaking with a work peer and she started going down the road of what her sign was and how it affected her behavior. She then asked me what my sign was and I replied. “No thank you, I take full responsibility for my own shitty behavior.”

Whenever I am having a nightmare, I cry out “Jesus help!” in my dream once I realize I’m dreaming. The nightmare dissolves into something wonderful every time. We are loved and not alone.

I got into every bit of this in the early 80s. Thank God I never had success in being psychic myself. I actually believed that I was practicing Christianity 2.0 - a higher level of Christianity. I stayed in this for at least 20 years. God finally pulled me out of it. I did not have sense enough to find my way out, God lifted me out. Thank you for your testimony!! I have no doubt that you are helping more people than you can imagine. New Age IS the occult, it is dark, it is against the first commandment and it is demonic. If you are in it, pray for deliverance, you will need God's supernatural help to get out.

We left our home church after 24 years because the pastor’s sister, a yoga teacher, moved to town and he allowed her to be part of the worship team. On her Facebook page she had a picture of herself in the lotus position in front of a picture of a Hindu god. She also stated how she is a believer in the power of the crystals. Very, very sad for us that he allowed this, and when asked about it, he said, “Oh, it’s “holy” yoga.” No, no it’s not. So, yes, we saw, first hand, the new age infiltrating the church.
