They're rotating Scout because of Spirit almost certainly. Scouts trade a lot of stats for the ability to attack more, and Spirit likely generates crazy amounts of value if put onto scout units, because the added HP helps them survive multiple combats.

With so much gone it feels like the game is really shifting to an early game aggro focus

It seems like they're rotating into a more classic low powered LoR basis, while also hitting some of the stronger spell enabler abusers (although not Lee Sin for some reason, maybe he is already rotated out). It's probably why they rotated out Akshan and Aatrox among some of the other more complicated overbearing setup heavy champions.

I think the best bet to make people miserable with a control list will be Zilean/Xerath. We've got Rite of Passage back, plus the new spell that buffs a landmark to revive after it dies. And the sagas of course.

the only thrall card that stayed was the 8 cost dragon that summons 2 thrall landmarks with countdown 2. i guess they dont want the early thrall gameplay( maybe because it kind of holds taliyah hostage ). also sett couldnt be rotated cuz he was released in 2023, and they arent rotating champs that released last year( he also has 2 epic skins)

They don't need LOR to die to relaunch it, I think POC just needs to be popular. I think that reignition would be enough for them to attempt to inject life back into the PVP

Wonder if they'll ever cap off the Cithria arc and release a Legendary before the end. Though I guess Lady of the Clouds is pretty nice finish, if there is no more Cithria in the future.

Honestly, this is probably the healthiest rotation I've seen. I quit a while back because of a lot of these cards just were too much value. I am sad to see Veigar get rotated but I'll take that loss. I may try to play the game again provided pvp stays up.

I absolutely loathe the way LoR rotation works. In a game where your champions is your biggest thematic, having so many unavailable is just feelsbad.
Imagine if in league only half the champions were available in ranked each season.
It's just not a good design at all.
Normal cards being rotated is more than fine, but champions, I just hate it.

Thankfully beautiful eternal will always be there for you. Hopefully LOR 2.0 is just evergreen eternal. Like there was already very few reasons to play standard after rotation 1.0 now theres no excuse not to be masters in eternal.
