It's not character this squad is missing, it's creativity. It has always been creativity that has been missing from England in international tournaments. England has too many system players, players who excel under a specific system that utilizes their strongest attributes. Cole Palmer is the only player I can think of that isn't a system player, he just balls no matter where he's on the pitch.

Tony was epic, heald up the ball, suggested to walker about the headed flick on, the throwing before the goal, and then assisted kane! Tony is straight up street, I.e, he has balls like any true working class England fan. You need balls to win this tournament, play Tony.
