I envy anyone who can write effortlessly. I'm 40, always had a great vivid imagination and been writing since I was in my teens but the past 12 years I've really struggled with this new book. My father died ten years ago and i dont know if that's affecting my writing but im just a really obsessive perfectionist such that I'm never happy with what i put down on paper. This is so inspirational. I am also writing three novels; a breakup novel, horror novel, and a mystery novel. The mystery novel i started in April 2022 this year. I’ve started writing when I was 10, but I really got into it in 6th grade, writing cringey short stories. I’ve recently started learning on the craft more, one of my favorite author that gave me advice is Jerry B. Jenkins. He is great at giving advice, I would definitely check him out! His YouTube and blog! He has helped me so much!

I am 16 now, and I am glad I never gave up on writing because it is definitely my passion. My English teacher this year said to me that I have ‘a good knack at dialogue’ haha 😂. It’s so fun being a writer to be honest. I learnt all my skill online for the past two years and am still learning. My English teachers never really taught me all the ‘dive-ins’ to the craft, but I’m glad I invested in it more.

Hi! You really inspired me to continue writing the book i had been working on since I was 9. I was so happy that I found it sitting along with my other stories waiting for me to click on it XD. I'm already 11 years old, and I continued writing it from now on. My book is all about fantasy and romance too! It was a dare from one of my friends, and I guess it went pretty well. And now, I'm already in Chapter 16 :D!

A major problem that i hope some peeps can relate too-
I have the imagination but not the description, yknow?
And im so used to writing down notes of books, that when I actually try and write it properly, it feels so weird, then I just give up and end up making more notes of books ill never get to writing.
And the sad thing is, I'm pretty sure I have good ideas, but like, I just dont know how to go about them 😭 im tryna put more dedication into mah writing rn tho, like, tryna learn how to write and describe things better, like an actual author-
Im only 13 and I dropped out of school (ill be back soon tho)
So I just hope I can only get better from here
