To me, he is one of the most intriguing people i ever heard about. Hes an artist who im just starting to really get into. I had no clue his catalog of music was so good.

Here is a fact. He initially turned down the role of Mr. Tesla in The Prestige. The director flew to convince him he needed someone who wad not an actor and had incredible charisma. He accepted and he killed it.

He renamed himself after a character in one of his favorite shows as a kid, and the show was set in outer space, and then bowie used that theme in his songs. I got all this info from a book called The Lives of Musicians: David Bowie (can't remember the author)
