Excellent driving skills and clearly demonstrates most important factors when encountering such a situation:
1. Stay off the brakes.
2. Steer through the skid.
Thanks for sharing!

I've been in that position a few times with an MGB I had back in 1977 at Mid America Raceway ( all houses now ) . That was a real fun track to race at. That 72 Purple with silver stripes MGB was a blast.

This is incredible. This really requires racing skill

Oh, well held sir! It's knowing exactly when to wind the lock off the steering and when to feather the throttle and when to keep it flat down, that's the skill.

That's how MGBs are. I have had them so far out of shape and they always seem to come back under control. My Triumph TR6 is another story all together. If your not right on top of it your spinning out before you know it.

Is this the best save you've ever seen? Let us know in the comments

It did not crash because of no computers on board and a talented driver that actually felt what the car was doing. You cannot feel the road with a drive by wire car. And the latest models will automatically brake when at this angle, causing you to roll.

It's a nice save but seen better and more out-of-shape ones that still got saved. And since there was no immediate things to hit here, I can easily think of several Code Brown moments from the Irish Road Races season, where people were an instinctive flick of an elbow from certain death. Rally drivers make epic saves all the time.

Chuck from Street Outlaws made a drag strip save vs a red Mustang was a recent epic save, see 1320 for video on that. Another was that Lebanese rally driver that flew over a hill and was a hair from hitting an idiotically parked car. There were multiple massively awesome saves in F1 throughout history. I think searching for Kimi videos should give a good starting point for that, or Senna for that matter, anyone who gave 101% during qualfying and made it.

Most Code Brown moment I can recall on 4 wheels, was Graham Hill once, during the 1961 German GP at the Nordschleife (unfilmed), hit a dropped camera on the road, spun on his own oil, veered off into the hedges, down a ditch at 100 mph, ran in the ditch for 50+ yards and then came out again on the road and completed the lap which was still like 6 miles more from the point he "crashed" from.

Did the guy driving the MG have some dirt oval racing under his belt ?

Where's the full race for this clip?

Just momentum due to the massive weight of a B series 😂

Great save, but also a fail on the drivers part for forgetting that kerbs are dangerous in the first place...

Still got nothing on Jamie Hacking's save in American Superbike.

I think you have the wrong video, that was okay save but nothing spectacular. Show us the one where they almost crash.
