I would never have fallen for something like that. I'm sorry for the victims, but common sense needs to kick in at some point.

If a potential employer ever asks you to put up any kind of money up front it's a giant red flag.

I don’t understand how people fall for stuff like this. It’s outrageous and totally ridiculous.

Wait...so the proposed business is to set up a charity so that they can profit from it? That's why legit charities and people that need real help do not get any help. Smh.

You'd be surprised what you would fall for when you're desperate. I had to pay for a plane ticket and hotel for orientation in another state. I knew it was legit because it was setup through my college and I was reimbursed, but it was stressful. I had never heard of having to spend money to get a job. But I was desperate for that job and I'm glad it turned out well

I know everyone’s IQ isn’t the same but the people who felt for this scam, I imagine who they can walk and chew gum at the same time

Really bro. They should’ve known that was a red flag after she asked them to buy items with their credit cards worth thousands of dollars. I don’t know how they fell for it 🤦‍♂️

Scammers should have mandatory 15-year minimum prison sentences.

I'm glad she got caught. People work too hard for their money to have it scammed away from them. She gets what she gets!😡😡😡

Sounds like he was told they were gonna scam to get money but he was the one to get scammed.
Lesson learned the hard way, be righteous.

Is it just sort of ironic that she was doing this in a store called Conns, and I personally have never heard of that store before. But now she'll give Conns a bad name with the fact that she conned people there. 🤣

These people rode the slow bus and I’m being nice.

When I was 17 I was working at Skechers and I told an older employee about a job I found and how they wanted me to pay money upfront to get the job . The employee told me never ever pay money for a job if they ask you to pay or buy something it’s a scam . I always remembers when he told me this but these ppl need common sense that scammer must a great wordsmith to con these adults out of money they should’ve known better.

Here is the essence of the scam 0:50. If you weren't greedy (profit off it) she couldn't work the scam. She used her greed to play your Greed.
