I attended this concert and I must say that even if Mozart's Requiem is up there as one of the most important compositions in music history, Sibelius' 4th Symphony that was played in the first half made the Requiem feel like an encore to an already memorable concert. It also felt weirdly "light" as normally it is a quite "heavy" piece, which stands as a testament to the aura of the 4th Symphony.

Mozart only wrote the first 8 measures of the Lacrimosa. The rest of this movement was composed by Sussmayr who also wrote the Sanctus, Benedictus, and Agnus Dei with no known sketches for these movements by Mozart.
