ye, Tribes is quite different from other games, it's based around fluidly gaining momentum by gliding down hills and such, and the weapons require you to lead the target, as the bullets don't just teleport to where you aim. I'd recommend you trying it out

i downloaded game and when i try to launch it just says ready to launch and i hear menu in the backgroound but all i see is same screen where i picked from eu and america

Got to play this at Pax yesterday, really enjoyed it and I haven't been big on any FPS since BF2 *not to say that this is similar* but it was alot of fun and I will have to pick this one up for sure.

When is the release date? And is system able to run it? I have a Pavilion dv6 laptop with a 2310M processor, 2.10GHz, 6 GB of memory, Intel(R) HD Graphics Family, refresh rate 60, yada yada, 1696 MB graphics memory. No idea what I'm saying, just throwing things out there.
