Oh no, the game was pretty much finished. Not much kinks or problems or anything. The core gameplay just simply wasn't that good. The single player campaigns were kind of cool though, reminded me of gaming in those arcade machines or something.

What I don't get is if anything this game is more complex than most FPS out there right now - why advertise it as simple?

It has realtime ingame weapon customization, sliding and loads of team actions like healing, ammo drops, boosting each other over obstacles etc. If anything they should have said "Modern shooters are so casual." and prestented Warface as the alternative.

The more I think about it the less sense it makes. If they had taken 5 minutes to look at any online forum they would have seen comments on nearly every shooter about how it is too dumbed down. People even called Portal 2 dumbed down, but nobody I have ever seen said that shooters were too complicated (because they're not). What the fuck are they thinking?

I spent the whole video waiting for the joke to make sense, then the video ended and I realized they were actually stupid enough to be serious. Dwarf Fortress is a complicated game, but it takes a special kind of idiot to find todays generic MP FPSs complicated

This look pretty cool, but I don't really see too much difference between this and other shooters save for the butt sliding, which you only seldom see.

...But I'm also vaguely reminded of a half-life 1 mod called "the specialists". I'm hoping there's other people out there that play it. Sliding was just one of like... a ton of special moves you could do.

At first I was like "Ha ha, a neat parody on modern FPSs". But then I googled Warface and found out it was real. FPSs are now becoming parodies of themselves. I don't know how I feel about this.

I've tried the russian version with an english pack, it was pretty mediocre. I'd much rather stick in playing Tribes Ascend.

Looks like COD, but free. CoD and any games that try to emulate it suck, but at least you don't pay $40-$60 for this, I guess.
