Humanist Wedding Ceremony with Hilarious Poem // Jamie and Megan

Hi everyone!

We hope you enjoy our wedding ceremony video in the gardens of Holywell Hall, on a warm and breezy Saturday in July 2019.

For those couples looking for a slightly alternative wedding ceremony for their special day, we hope ours gives you some ideas and inspiration of what a humanist ceremony could look like.

We loved the thought of writing our own script, vows and adapting poems, making them light and funny at times!

Gramps’ adaptation of Denise Jones’ poem Marriage is for Life, not just the Wedding Day had everyone in stitches! It’s well worth a listen.

And the icing on the cake (excuse the pun) was having Jamie’s Dad lead the entire proceedings - something we’ll never forget.

I was so shocked when I suddenly heard a Dutch poem! It was so lovely! The whole ceremony was wonderfull!

Her dress it’s just unreal matching headband and long veil just makes the whole look incredible nicest bride I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot and love my wedding dresses I cannot cope with the amazing venue everything is just perfect the flowers everything this is what an perfect wedding looks like you can see they really taught everything deeply threw even the boys suits where amazing hope your day was as perfect as it looked xx

This is so beautiful and I am utterly envious of those who got to be there for it. Congratulations!!! (P.S. I love the fact that you made it your own!
