If you notice when he was using the saw with the blade backwards it was starting to come out. Don’t try that unless you’re wearing safety glasses. Also some saws don’t have a wheel that can be moved. The last board wouldn’t have had the frayed edge if it had a less aggressive tooth blade and slower speed. Jigsaws are more like scroll saws than they are sawzall, they aren’t meant to cut through everything fast as possible.

Love your presentation, no music and no yapping just good demonstration of clever techniques. The "no-no" finger wagging cracks me up.

Don’t do the first trick. Drill two holes in the corners and use the blade in the intended manner so it doesn’t come flying out and hit you. Safety first

Спасибо. Теперь я начну тренироваться, чтобы уметь так же делать пальцем из стороны в сторону. Не знал, что пальцем можно так делать. Круто! 👍

Be extremely careful when using a jigsaw 'backwards', as in the first section. there is a reason for the roller guide. The blades are very brittle so wear good quality safety glasses.

The old craftsman saws allowed you to just rotate the blade 90 degrees in any direction by turning a knob on top of the saw.

Tip number 6: Use a circular saw instead of a jigsaw for cross cuts.

The tape trick is also usefull when drilling holes on wood. With the tape placed where the drill comes out. Good presentation!

I also do a lot of DIY crafts, but without realizing it, I was doing the same trick. It's good to be able to share like this. I'm happy that everyone's skills have improved and everyone can enjoy crafting.

I have an old one I got from dad's tools I only use it to cut out large holes in plywood for plumbing and stuff. Use skill saw for everything else shown here. I also use a high quality 7" folding manual saw. I like the tape trick going to try it sometime.
