Honda makes one of the best compact SUV's. I used to own the 2005 CRV EX and was very happy with it, aside from the AC issue. The things I miss on the new models are the full size spare tire mounted on the back door and the folding table that serves as the trunk floor. I wish Honda would consider putting these features back in their next updated model.

I just came home with my 2022 CR-V in the same color. I. LOVE. IT! Everything you said about it is accurate. The tailgate is quite heavy & I wish it would open with the remote. Performance-wise I am very very pleased & happy I upgraded from my 2021 Civic.

I got my 2022 CR-V EX in November 2022. In three months I'm satisfied with the overall performance and handling. I traded in a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. A big change but I'm happy. The CR-V does seem a little noisy inside to me but I can live with it. Thank you for your review. BTW, I didn't have much to choose from as new cars were pretty scarce throughout the year. I did look at SUVs from Toyota (they had none but did have a lengthy waiting list), Hyundai, Subaru (who also didn't have much on the lot).

Time stamps are the best thing since sliced bread!! We may be moving from a full sized pickup into a similar suv or anything between. Our '05 accord is our 2nd vehicle and it's like new at 150K so other than the turbo I am a honda fan!

The CR-V has always been the gold standard of this class and still is even in it's last year of the current generation. I always recommend the CR-V as the best all around choice.
