I learned that Canadian geese are actually kind of cute and fun in college because there was a pond full of them, I spent so much time at the pond watching, and eventually they just would come by and hang out with me. I love them. They're mean but they are really nice and funny too. The ones in college actually learned to roll crab apples towards me because they knew I would step on them and be easier to eat.

People don't realize, the Canadian geese absolutely recognize and forge relationships with people! I watched and engaged with five generations of geese! One in particular found me at a different park and would stand guard protecting me from other people. 😂 They can be quite aggressive!🥴 But they only show their true personality with people they trust. It's an amazing thing to have wild animals know you and recognize you in a different environment. What joy!!!😊

I do love canadian geese. Even if they can be agressive it's just when you get too close. It's honestly amasing how protective they are of their babies. Super nice to see.

I saw a man feeding ducks and Canada geese at a pond. A Canada goose was on the grass next to him. He gave it some food then threw more food to the other birds, so it reached its head up and tugged at his pocket gently as if saying "Excuse me, may I please have some more?" It was so sweet. That's when I started to love them.

This happened to me once after I saved 4 baby mallard ducks 🦆 because they lost their family and once they were old enough they left and I’ll never forget seeing 3 come back together and I did the same voice from when they were younger and they came right up to me just like this it’s truly such a heartwarming experience.
