Jujutsu kaisen has had a gap of almost exactly 2 years between seasons so it's only natural to assume that it will start airing 2-3 months after the hidden inventory arc movie and release in winter (I honestly prefer that it airs during winter, idk why I just love it) and a mad theory of mine is that they try to sir each episode close to what the current date in the anime actually is so for example (slight manga spoiler warning)gojo will escape the prison in November (he canonly escaped it in November)
