The keeping of New Moons is old light (pun intended) and Paul has already told us how to relate ourselves to such teachings and the bondage it leads to:

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

I am thankful that God can use this gross heresy that is resurfacing to cause diligent study of the Sabbath and be more firmly grounded in the true fourth commandment Sabbath day of rest, Saturday.

Like the Sabbath, the week originated at creation, and it has been preserved and brought down to us through Bible history. God Himself measured off the first week as a sample for successive weeks to the close of time. Like every other, it consisted of seven literal days. Six days were employed in the work of creation; upon the seventh, God rested, and He then blessed this day and set it apart as a day of rest for man. PP 111.1

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Thank you Grace for having the courage to share what you have learnt. I believe that you are sincere and I now believe it to be the truth. God is preparing His people for the final showdown, the question of His Sabbath. Please keep sharing. Don't allow anyone to discourage you. It is not easy to let go of long established beliefs and some will react to anything that questions those beliefs with extreme emotional distress.

All I ask is that my brothers and sisters continue to keep me in prayer as I travel this journey to the Sabbath truth. It isn't easy letting go of old habits, but God was faithful when he showed me the truth about who he really is, and the truth about the flat earth. Since we are studying, I would advise that we look into the book Jubilees 6, especially verses 32 - 38

30.And all the days of the commandment will be two and fifty weeks of days, and (these will make) the entire year complete. Thus it is engraven and ordained on the heavenly tablets.
31.And there is no neglecting (this commandment) for a single year or from year to year.
32.And command thou the children of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning- three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according to their testimony, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts.
33.But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years will be dislodged] and they will neglect their ordinances.
34.And all the children of Israel will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new moons, and seasons, and sabbaths and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years.
35.For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lies) written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance.
36.For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon -how (it) disturbs the seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon.
37.For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the months and sabbaths and feasts and jubilees.
38.For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayst testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new moons and seasons and sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.

Based on this passage, it clearly states that using the moon to determine the sabbath(s) will cause us to make an abominable day of the day of testimony. Jubilees 2:9 And God appointed the sun to be a great sign on the earth for days and for sabbaths and for months and for feasts and for years and for jubilees and for all seasons of the years.

The (God's) Calender Year is 364 Days and is apparently solar and not lunar. The Lunar calendar is 354 (ten days short).

Awesome. I am an SDA that's been keeping the seventh day Sabbath via Yah's biblical luni-solar calendar for about 13 years now. And up to now, 2022 through 2023, I've not seen this message explode within Adventism. Not that many are accepting this new light message, but that many leaders, pastors in Adventism are trying to diminish and destroy this message, just like they tried to destroy the Godhead message around 2008-2010 by attacking it and promoting the Trinity. Remember, Yah's people are not going to be many. At this time, we are to go out and promote the Sabbath MORE FULLY. May Yahshua bless all.

The question is if the luminaries where created in one of the six day of creation to have new moon as a separated day of the six days is an issue, so new moon day is day one and count seven then Shabbat not seven plus one.

Point 1--True, the Lord said to Moses, “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.” Ex. 12:2. But He did not say, It shall also be the beginning of weeks to you. Had He intended the moon to fix the time of the holy Sabbath, He would have made it complete its revolution around the earth once either in exactly four weeks or in exactly one week. But since the moon does not do so, it cannot be taken as the Divine regulator of the weekly holy Sabbath day. Moreover, Sabbath begins at “even, ” whereas the new moon may appear at any hour of day or night.
Point 2 --The Sabbath which the Lord hallowed was celebrated on exactly the seventh day after the creation of the earth began, not on the seventh day after the creation of the moon began (Gen. 2:2). So the weekly cycle which God set in motion, and the Sabbath which He Himself celebrated, were not measured by the revolutions of the moon, but by the revolutions of the earth. Had the Lord blessed and observed a Sabbath that is governed by the moon, then the Sabbath hours could not have fallen on the seventh day from the beginning of creation, but rather must have fallen within the tenth day, for the moon was not created and set in motion until after the fourth day of creation. (See Genesis 1:14-19). Since the week was not then governed by the moon, it certainly cannot be governed by it now and still be the week of creation.

Point 3 -- As creation week was three days older than both the sun and the moon, the fact conclusively follows, therefore, that neither of these heavenly luminaries could have ever regulated the week of creation. Moreover, such a solar-lunar regulatory force would, except it be in cycles of tens, deprive Time and Creation of the first three days, leaving them as a phantom “lost period.” the twenty-eighth days of the lunar month for the observance of the Sabbath, we could not keep up with the moon anyway, for the lunar month is not actually four weeks (28 days) long, but approximately twenty-nine and a half days. All these significant facts completely invalidate the idea of the weeks being dependent upon the monthly orbit of the moon. God Bless

What subject is the most important for SDAs that sets us apart from all other denominations (and I don't say this with pride, but humbleness) and should make us a peculiar people??? That is the subject of October 22, 1844. The Great Day Atonement. How do you think the early SDA pioneers came up with that date??? They first prayed about it, then someone was inspired to go talk to the Karaite Jews who they found were keeping Yah's true calendar. The only Jews keeping it at the time. And guess what, they found out that the biblical calendar new year in 1844 started with the new moon on April 19, 1844. Then the pioneers followed the dates of the Feasts of the Bible through the seventh month and the 10th day (see Lev 23), which led them to Oct. 22, 1844. So if SDAs have a problem with the luni-solar calendar, then you have a problem with Oct. 22, 1844 as well. Are you willing to go there SDAs??? You see how negating one biblical truth leads to other biblical negations of truth. That is what Satan wants all SDAs to do. He wants you to keep new light out of your life. I have been studying these and I’m finding many new things which are true, at the end of the tunnel it seems like liberty, it promises a calling out of the world to rest. With the current calendar, one can manage the world and religion at the same time but this seems to be a total disconnect.
