The glow in the dark looks really cool. looks like a cave with glowing ceiling and floor. Would look right at home with D&D miniatures

See, layers of resin does work. As a prototype I think you did a brilliant job and overcame the potential problems of a larger build.

Now let's see you do it with 20' conference table! 😁👍

Great experiment Ben & it looks great 👍

An idea for the full size water table. You could install a pump & have the water flowing over the painted wood, to mimic fast flowing water or rapids. You could even have a waterfall .

Excellent. Keen as mustard
Haven't told zametti yet, but I figured out the uv resin will flash freeze the color in some flowers. Some it melts. Some turn clear and some are strange over tiime but it seems to work brilliantly on some. Pink still changes.

That's brilliant! I was a bit confused after you put the sand in because I thought you were using thin CA glue to hold it but then wondered, and hoped, you were going to allow the sand to move about like one of those sand pictures we all had 30 years ago. That's great because it will never be the same twice. Great job!
Best Wishes, Brendan.

For the next time, might I suggest a process we use in the shaker mold business? There is a special kind of thin acrylic (as thin as paper) that you can use as the lid on each side of the wood using uv resin as the glue. Then you make a pin hole and inject the water using a syringe. Then finish off by doming each side with resin of your choice. I use uv because I'm impatient lol. Great job ben!

Still looks cool! As my grandma use to say you can never succeed without failure! Because you always learn from your mistakes!

It looks so cool! Another thing you can try that you might like is glycerine! It gives the effect of water and will not evaporate. You can also color it with inks or glow powder and put in little glitter or shells or whatever you want! It's clear and it won't yellow. Hope that helps.

That's actually a really interesting idea! Like one of those oil sand art pieces, that change all the time. Nice job!

Hey Ben, great job my man, great job! I hope you do make a table like that! What a great idea project! You know the finished product, after you said getting the end in a c corner, reminded me of a m gaze game! You know with little silver balls or bb's, and roll 'em around to get them into the holes. What a great idea!?! Hey, great job Ben, thank you! 💜👏👏👏😋 Pam
