I'm almost 70 years old..I remember being about 4 years old cause we had white leghorn chickens free ranged way before it was "cool"... George was the rooster and thought he owned everything outside the house..the older siblings were chased onto the school bus every morning, soon after he attacked my mom he found his way to the supper table, kinda tough but very satisfying meal😊😊

I raised boer goats for 12 years. I learned the hard way to avoid touching or scratching the bucks 3 months or older on the head or between the horns. Bucks will grow to interpret that as you wanting to play, and they will eventually end up pinning you against the wall in the process.

We’ve got a couple of weathered (fixed) male Nigerian Dwarf goats. They only head butt each other which is their form of play. With me, they get up on their hind legs in a mock attack but never head butt, again their form of play. After we play for a while, they get a good itchy scratchy rub down of which they can never get enough of.

Matt! You started out as a vet from Vet Ranch, which I loved and still miss. You have a not neutered male goat that has reached his sexual maturity. This is how they act, and it’s just in the DNA. I’ve never known anyone who has goats, but I heard the males stink to high heaven. One thing is for sure, your goat wont be able to bully the longhorn!
