Goat-Scream Cops ‘Can’t Help But Laugh’

Oklahoma police officers were rushing to respond to a 911 call about somebody screaming. Police officer Neal Storey says he initially thought someone was calling for help due to a medical emergency. However, those wailing screams were actually from a goat. Apparently, the goat was distressed over being locked out of his pen so that two other goats could mate. When the cops realized the screams were coming from a goat, they couldn't help but laugh. Inside Edition's Les Trent has more.

I bet these cops felt so much relief when they realized it was a goat and not a grown man screaming for help. They probably thought they were going to find a severely injured man inside that barn/shed but instead found a goat longing for his mate. Their laughter was probably laced with relief and thanks.

THIS HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE!!!! I was taking a nice lovely stroll through the woods and suddenly I hear a woman screaming... keep walking, keep hearing screaming and as I got closer I realized it was a group of goats.

Im a nurse and I get so relieved when it's just a silly thing like this, I had a lady who thought she was peeing blood until I asked her what she ate and she started laughing saying she ate beets the night before. It's a weight off your shoulders when the problem wasn't a problem after all 😂

When I was a kid we thought there was a woman screaming for help in our woods. My dad just wasn’t sure if it was a fox, and when it actually started to say he said we couldn’t risk it. It sounded so much so like it, that the responding officers also believed it was a woman screaming in the woods, parked their cars at the edge of the woods, and were shining their headlights in all while yelling for the woman. Her screams began to get more and distant until all the sudden…racing across the field beyond this field into the other tree line…was a fox.

My goat used to do this all the time. He would stick his head in the fence pretending to be stuck and death scream to get attention. Took me a bit to catch him doing it on purpose and seeing him easily get out so I always knew he just wanted to be pet or given some food but everyone else fell for it. He was the sweetheart and his brother was a relentless head butting hell raiser.
