I love that game! The jetpack parts for Diddy were amazing! Its probably my second or third favorite game ever.

I think I heard somewhere that it was actually used to patch a glitch that the developers didn’t know how to fix, so they made it mandatory so that it doesn’t break the game. But idk

Man I didn’t know it increased the ram, but at least I got to play games like Donkey Kong 64 and Super Mario 64. Nice

It was actually a last minute bug fix for one of the levels that had a memory leak which would crash the game, it still happens but the extra RAM lets it last longer

I remember buying it brand new, and in the box was the red memory cart. It was so awesome that we didn't have to wait for an update to download, just pop it on and start playing.

Also on perfect dark if you didn't have the expansion pak you could only play part of the campaign and no multiplayer if you had the expansion pak you got to play the whole campaign and multiplayer
