Part 23: Hideout Helm

It comes to this. Now we're heading deep into the Hornet's Nest. Welcome to the final area of the game, Hideout Helm.

Hideout Helm has only one objective: Stop the Blast-o-Matic from firing because it may have a chance to destroy everything. You're also on a time limit. That's what the blueprints are for. You actually start with a 10-minute time limit but if you've gotten all of Snide's blueprints, he says that he can stop the firing sequence by extending it's time limit to 50 minutes.

It's here you have to focus on reaching the Blast-o-Matic and then completing a series of mini games. Each Kong has two mini games to complete and doing it all shuts down a part of it along with getting a banana medal. There is also an arena to take down but you can leave that to Diddy.

Once the Blast-o-Matic is shut down, you can progress further and yes, getting the battle crowns along with the Rareware and Nintendo coins are needed to get the final key along with the last two banana fairies.

With K. Rool's plan down the drain, only one thing remains... taking K. Rool down. That's in the finale.

Tonight's another Crash 4. I took a day off and I'm probably taking another day off because well, as someone who has been through hell and back. Believe you me, Monday is when I will likely start Miles Morales and it's going to be a 100% run. You guys know as well as I am that I'm only one person who can only do so much and it's not like I don't get much support anyway. This part takes a long time doing the normal way because of turning off K-Rool’s Final Smash, but I’ve seen people hard reset in speed runs because returning to the lobby results in a game over.

King K Rool is definitely unhappy with us interfering with his plans, now we have to disable his Blast-o-Matic before it fires.
