To summarize the Subtitles: The Rieklings got the means to produce sick beats by visiting the Shivering Isles. They also misinterpreted a Daemonic Invocation into what we know as "The Griddy". The second part, probably the violins, was probably also Sampled from the Dawnguard's response to "Blood Gang".
Edit: After reading the Sermons of Vivec and The Pilgrim's Path, i now know the Greedy Man is the (possibly Daedric) lord of the Dreugh. He was defeated by Vivec, and the Rieklings may be inadvertently tried to summon him, inventing the Griddy instead.
